- Normally, if you want to close all of the open apps on your Mac, you'd have to either quit them all one by one or restart, shut down, or log out while making sure to deselect “Reopen windows when logging back in.' The latter option is great, but it doesn't always work in Mac OS X, and what if you don't want to restart, shut down, or log out?

How To Hide All Apps On Macbook Pro
Hi!
I Switched from Windows to Mac OS some months ago, and it's been nothing but a bliss - well, except for one thing. I can't figure out how to hide all applications (cmd + alt + click desktop, although it would be nice if it's possible to hide Finder windows as well) using only the keyboard. Sure, Exposé can almost do the trick, but not quite (1. Grey annoying borders and 2. All windows reappear, not just the one you need).
I'm using Quicksilver btw, if that helps.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks
